SOZOcloud is a licensing server that determines the software features of SOZOhub that the customer organization has purchased (e.g. fluid monitoring for lymphedema). SOZOcloud doesn’t store customer patient identifiable data. SOZOcloud cannot remotely access SOZOhub. SOZOhub periodically contacts SOZOcloud over port 443 using an Oauth SOZOcloud user account that is created during the SOZOhub installation. These requests from SOZOhub to SOZOcloud are encrypted using TLS
1.2 2048. In addition to requesting license details SOZOhub also asks SOZOcloud for any SOZO software or firmware updates. When SOZOhub updates become available, these are flagged to the SOZO administrator who can then update the server to a schedule that fits the organization. Typically, when SOZOhub is updated a new version of SOZOapp is also provided and SOZOapp is then automatically updated after the SOZOapp is next started up.
